ending time

greetings all! this will probably be the last blog entrie that ill make before i get back from our trip. yes, our trip is approaching a sudden hault as we finnish up our stay at the Grand Canyon. I had a fun stay here.

The first day we got here we got settled into our cabins. we didn't do too much because the day was almost over. well I did get a sweet necklace and a nice lunch with ice cream (not just any ice scream, soft serve ice cream, yummies!).

The next day we did a bit more. we took two hikes today. one was a tiny hike that brought us to a nice view. the other hike was a longer hike which took us maybe an hour and a half round trip. by this time, we were all tired and we went back to the cabin. later on, a storm approached the canyon and we went to see the show of lighting forks hitting the canyon at the lodge. After this, we went back the cabin for about an hour, then we went back to the lodge for dinner. This place was fancy stuff here. after a delicious dinner and filling desert, it was lights out.

today, we went for a hike down the grand canyon. it was easy going downhill, but we had to pace ourselves and breath easy going up. i saw many beautiful views down in the canyon, and it got hotter too! After that, we got back into the car and drove to another view. along the way my dad noticed something that looked like a dedr in the distance. but then he noticed that it looked too small to be a deer. My dad pointed it out to my mom and she saw it. They figured out that it wasn't a deer at all, but a lion! later on we found out it wasn't a mountain lion, but a bobcat. unfortunatly by the time i had my camera ready the cool cat was gone. so we trudged on in our car and went on to the view point. and boy, what a view it was!! The canyon really did fit the title of grand.

Tomorrow, we shall be on the road again going off to vegas. this will be when Ill be posting this entry, because the place im in right now has no internet. hopefully my future self will have more pictures coming, depending if he has time or not.
