trip to las vegas!

Hello there all! First off welcome to my blog that im starting up about my familys trip out west! Here we'll have pictures of our journeys. so lets start off with the descent

THE DESCENT

my trip started at around 5:00 am, when i was shooken awake by my mother (grrr!). We were anxiously awaiting our cab to drive us to the airport. when he got here at exactly 5:30, we were all ready, loading our bags into the cab. The driver was one interesting fellow. He started off talking to my mom about faith and religion, a big thing for such an hour. He seemed to have seen alot of places, having been to all 48 consecutive states! Some things he said i thought were too good to be true. first off, he said he had an IQ of 162, which i didn't believe exactly. He also claimed that he and a couple of friends started the stripes on the road by the lake in nonantum. there was many other things he did, but i don't remember much of it because i was too tired.

so we got to the airport, its around 6:00 about now. now our plane left at around 9:00 so we had a bit of time :) the security and the bag checking didn't take that long so we had about 2 1/2 hours by then to do nothing. will plugged his laptop in and went into his own world, and i tried figureing how to get wireless internet... which didn't work. but i read a bit and in no time at all we were on the plane. the plane ride (tho it was one of my first planes rides) was quite boring. luckily there was movies, music, and my laptop so that kept me from having my brain melting.

ok so we got off and thanks to the timezone change we pretty much had another day on our hands. the first thing we did was get our bags. after that, it was getting our rental car. then from there we pretty much found shelter (checked into hotel) and scavenged for food (chiljis, and grocery store). by this time we were exhausted and we hung out at the hotel for the remainder of the night. thats all for now today will probably be a jammed pack day... at vegas!!! oh btw, our hotel is like right near the strip so we have easy access to the busy part of vegas oh yeah!

peace!

paul

i highly recommend you stand in front of the Bellagio hotel after dark and watch the water, light, and music show. even opera sounds good in that environment (but they play a variety of genres). so cool to feel that humidity vs the dry air!
